LIMBO — it’s mysticism, adventure, style and atmosphere in one bottle. An unusual and extremely curious platformer was able to win not only the love of players around the planet, but also many awards in the field of gaming. The plot revolves around a little boy who regained consciousness in the middle of a dark forest. From this point, the adventure begins.
Game process
LIMBO is the first Android game that will be interesting not only for lovers of puzzles and atmospheric platformers, but also for fans of shooters and dynamic games. In fact, you have to constantly run forward, solving many puzzles along the way for further advancement.
Features
After installing Limbo, you will immediately appreciate the atmosphere. Gloomy foggy graphics with faint glimpses of light swaying to the side of a branch, the rustle of leaves, the quiet sound of the steps of a running boy and the deafening knock of mechanisms, and the noise of electronics — all this will make you plunge into the atmosphere, feel it, forget about everything, enjoying the unique gameplay.
The game was available for download on a PC more than 5 years ago, however, it has only recently been ported to Android platforms. The gameplay is designed for a little more than 2 hours, but most of the puzzles will make you stomp on the spot and make countless attempts, sacrificing the life of a boy. However, even having reached a dead end, you can find support in video walkthroughs on the Web.
Review
LIMBO — this is just the case when the game is good simultaneously on all fronts. It will allow you to properly move your brain, stretching your own mind, and just enjoy the beauty of the picture. The story of a boy wandering through a black and white forest is an excellent example of not being afraid of unusualness. The game is really quite extraordinary, however, it was this (together with the talented implementation of the initial idea in the appendage) that helped the project to take pride of place among the most popular games over the past few years.
